International Rock climbing Festival “Almaty – 2019” Kazakhstan 29.08-04.09. 2019 Information for participantsOrganizer: Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation of Republic of Kazakhstan.
Venue: Granit rocks in Alatau Mountain Range in Tuyuk Su Gorge, 25 km from Almaty city. Height 60-230 m.
Elevation: 2400-2800 m. above sea level.
Routes: 5 multi-pitches, 10 trades.
Team size: 1 team chief, 4 men, 4 women, 1 national musician\singer. If team has no enough women, chief can change to pair of man.
Accommodation: Alpine refuge “Tuyuk Su” 2400 m. Rooms for 4-12 persons. Electricity 220 v, heater, beds with mattresses.
Meals: 3 hot meals a day. During climbing hot lunch under the Rocks 2600 m.
Transfers: Almaty Int airport to Alpine refuge “Tuyuk Su” will be organized for each team.
Equipment: Each pair of climbers has to bring all necessary climbing equipment for 5a-7c climbing route. Sleeping bags are necessary.
Price:
1. Registration fee – $50 per person, excluding musician\singer.
2. Accommodation and 3 meals a day – $30 per person per day, excluding musician\singer.
3. Transfer Almaty Int airport – Alpine refuge “Tuyuk Su”- Almaty Int airport – $30 per person, excluding musician\singer.
4. Letter of Invitation for visa to Kazakhstan – $10 per person
